Celebrating its 100th anniversary, the 1925 silent film “Lady Windermere’s Fan,” digitally restored by the Museum of Modern Art, is directed by Ernst Lubitsch and based on Oscar Wilde’s 1892 play. The accompanying original musical score by Gillian B. Anderson will be performed in public for the first time by the Peoria Symphony Orchestra, led by Maestro George Stelluto.
The Museum of Modern Art chose to work with the Peoria Riverfront Museum as its first-ever partner last year in screening a select series of silent films from its collection.
The Peoria Riverfront Museum proudly presents this special world premiere presentation, which blends the art of film with live orchestral accompaniment, elevating the cinema experience to a truly immersive level.

The evening will feature an eclectic panel of guests who have previously appeared on 'Rock Star Millennials'. Jennifer Rosa of Pretendly and Flat World Productions is producing the event as well as serving as a panelist. Other esteemed panelists include Nate Domenighini of gener8tor, Caroline LaHood of ColorForge, and Samm Hutchison of Bear's Bites. Sound support will be provided by audio engineer J Scott Hinkley of Flat World Productions and videography by Mike Rundle.
