Flat World Productions (FWP) is an event, concert, and audio production company founded by husband and wife team, J Scott Hinkley and Jennifer Rosa. The dynamic duo has over two decades of combined music and entertainment experience with their work spanning from the Midwest to the East Coast. Flat World was established to produce high quality concerts and develop collaborative events while also having the ability to provide top notch audio needs specialized for any client from front-of-house audio/tech and recording to mixing and editing.
Flat World thrives on “collecting and connecting”. FWP is fueled by “collecting” or gaining meaningful relationships fostered over the years and finding opportunities to put those contacts to impactful use by “connecting” the right factors to guarantee a winning combination of creative vision, thrilling experiences, and satisfied clients and patrons.

ABOUT JENNIFER: Co-Founder, Executive Producer...
Jennifer Rosa, an award winning indie Classical Soprano / Songwriter / Collaborator, has had the privilege of performing in several operas and has been a soloist at cathedrals in Sweden, The Royal Cathedral in Denmark, and the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. Jennifer has enjoyed performing in The Oratorio Society of New York at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center since 2006, singing for Mario Fratti’s ("Nine" playwright) “Week of Italian Theatre”, premiering work in theNew York Musical Theatre Festival, and shooting a TV pilot for Vegas Productions. She also is the Soprano band member for Electric Black (ElectricBlack.net) having recorded at Avatar Studios and performed at such venues as The Fillmore at Irving Plaza and Mercury Lounge.
Since moving to NYC, she has served as a Special Events/Marketing Intern for New York City Opera at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and now is the Founder and Producer of Music Forum and The Stoop Concert Series (TheStoopNY.com), which takes place at the landmark Church For All Nations in the heart of Manhattan, where she also acts as the Events Director. ABOUT J SCOTT: Co-Founder, Director of Operations...
J Scott Hinkley has contributed to the music industry since 1999 having worked as a touring Singer/Songwriter, Audio Engineer, Label/Publisher Relations and Digital Media Licensing Manager. He has worked with companies including Arc Music, eMusic, The Orchard, and licensing and royalty service provider, RightsFlow, acquired by YouTube/Google Inc. in 2011. J Scott has served as the Technical Director and Audio/Recording Engineer for every concert to take place in The Stoop Concert Series (TheStoopNY.com) held at the landmark Church For All Nations in the heart of NYC. His company Flat World Recordings has been an official sound sponsor for The Stoop since 2008.
Hinkley's clientele has included notable artists of every genre from blues to pop and metal to Classical. He enjoys working with emerging artists as well as established bands or orchestras. Flat World Recordings has since evolved into Flat World Productions (FlatWorldPro.com), a collaborative event, concert, and audio production company of which he is the Co-Founder and Director of Operations. J continues to provide specialized front-of-house sound, mobile audio engineering/recording, mixing, and editing services while adding in-house concert production to the mix.
